Educational Curriculum & Instruction

If you have a passion for teaching and want to mold the next generation of critical thinkers, then you belong with us.

Our educational curriculum and instruction program prepares you to use and evaluate learning tools for students K-12. You'll explore teaching materials, different students' educational needs, and various educational subjects.

Certification-Only Program

Do you have a passion, desire, or ambition to teach, but do not do not wish to pursue a second undergraduate degree? We have a program to fit your needs.

Our certification-only program allows you to be enrolled and at the same time you may be eligible to earn the full salary and benefits of a certified teacher.

Counseling

Counselors provide classroom guidance and organize programs to meet the students' developmental and special needs. They also help students with personal, family, educational, mental health, and career decisions and problems.

Our Master of Science in Counseling program offers specializations in mental health counseling, school counseling, or a dual concentration combining the two.

Exercise Science

If you are interested in the effects physical activity has on the human body, biomechanics, exercise physiology and motor control, then kinesiology is the program for you.

We offer two tracks for our Exercise Science program: exercise science pre-professional studies, and exercise science fitness studies. Our students get hands-on experience with student-athletes during the many different sports seasons.

Online Programs

We offer multiple degree and certificate options online, including a:

  • Grad certificate in instructional coaching
  • M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction with a concentration in instructional specialization
  • Health promotional and wellness degree through our School of Kinesiology.
